matter more than we sometimes realize.
Joybit was started by a group of friends with very different ways of appreciating beautiful things. One of us has always loved crocheting and making things by hand. Another has a soft spot for all kinds of beautiful “useless stuff” — little objects that may not serve an important purpose, but somehow make you happy just by being there. And that’s how Joybit began.
We like to joke that bag charms are, in a way, useless things.
They don't make your bag carry more. They don't make your phone work better.
They probably won't solve any of life's big problems.
But maybe that's exactly why we love them.
In a world where everything is increasingly designed to be useful, productive, and efficient, we think there is something special about
owning something simply because it makes you feel good. Emotional value matters.
Sometimes, a tiny character hanging from your bag can make an ordinary morning feel a little brighter,
make you smile when you catch a glimpse of it, or remind you of something — or someone — you love.
So we make bag charms inspired by the little things that bring us joy: animals, fruits, plants, the ocean, sports, and all the wonderfully random things we find beautiful.
Each Joybit character has a personality, a little story, and a reason to come along with you. They're not meant to be perfect or overly serious.
They're simply little companions for everyday life — the kind of things you keep around because they make your world feel a little more like your own.
Maybe a bag charm is a "useless thing."
